Wing-CDX Quadra Range
For the first time in lighting, Philips introduces a special frame fortifying the luminaire, which redefines and miniaturizes the luminaire size seamlessly integrating the same with modular ceiling systems. Quadra is the range of such luminaires with direct/indirect light distribution and can use the most efficient lamp varieties of 2 X PL-L 36 / 55W, or 4 X TL-5 14 W lamps. It offers a choice of high efficiency 3D OLC optics or UFD optics rendering shadow less lighting.
Key Features and their Benefits
Frame
Special decorative frame with an inherent curved profile which creates a new visual appearance, miniaturizing the light opening. The frame is seamlessly integrated with the modular ceiling system, avoiding abrupt light pockets in the ceiling.
Housing
A curved shallow housing with highly reflective paint provides more indirect lighting.
Extrusions
Special aluminium extrusions ensure reliable and error-free mounting of optics and wings as well as help to generate modular luminaire varieties.
Optical
A choice of high efficiency, low-glare 3D OLC (Three Dimensional Omni directional Luminance Control) Optics which reduce the number of luminaires in the installation, is available as well as a choice of UFD (Uniform Flux Distribution) Optics to create a soothing shadow-less comfortable ambience.
Opti Grain
The indirect light from the housing falls on the wings with ‘Opti-grain Technology’ to provide diffused refracted light for improved visual comfort.
Wings
Wide, decorative, polycarbonate, anti-static wings with a robust construction, provide an elegant look, with ease of cleaning. The wings are in Magic Mist or Graphite Grey colors.
Lamps
The luminaires use energy efficient compact fluorescent lamps of 2 X PL-L 36 / 55W or slim linear fluorescent lamps 4 X TL-5 14W.
