General Description
Road lighting luminaire suitable for use with High Pressure Sodium Vapour SON/SON-T 70W (I or E) lamp.
Features
- All electrical accessories such as energy efficient copper ballast, electronic ignitor (for SON/E or SON-T/E 70W lamp), power factor improvement capacitor etc., are pre-wired upto a terminal block and mounted on a specially designed easily detachable gear plate
- Specially designed optics for energy efficient tubular SON-T lamps. Alternatively compatible with ovoid SON lamp
- Single piece housing cum reflector of deep drawn aluminium, powder coated outside in an attractive grey colour. Lamp compartment is electrochemically brightened and anodised
- High quality long lasting felt gasket impregnated with insecticide &
water repellent chemical on the periphery of the lamp compartment - Stainless steel toggles for fixing UV stabilised acrylic bowl to housing
- Die-cast aluminium (LM6) pole mounting piece
- Hinging arrangement for UV stabilised acrylic bowl for ease of maintenance
- Conformance to IP 54 protection for lamp and gear compartment
- Conformance to relevant IS specifications
