General description

Road lighting luminaire suitable for use with High Pressure Sodium Vapour SON-T PLUS 150W / 250W or Metal Halide HPI-T PLUS 250W lamp or CDM-TT 150W/200W.

Features

• Housing made of single piece pressure die-cast aluminium alloy with low copper content for sturdiness and excellent corrosion resistance. Specially designed styling with powder coated finish for improved aesthetics and better environmental protection. Available in choice of colours.
• All electrical accessories such as energy efficient, low loss, open construction copper ballast, ignitor and power factor improvement capacitor are pre-wired upto the terminal block.
• The lamp compartment consists of electrochemically brightened and anodized, high purity POT reflector with a specially designed ribbed profile for better uniformity and high spacing to mounting height ratio.
• Specially designed pole mounting arrangement accommodated in a separate compartment with a cover made of engineering plastic to facilitate bottom as well as lateral pole mounting without disturbing the lamp or gear compartment.
• Multiple configurations for cover are available to suit different lamps and environmental conditions.
• Clear curved polycarbonate cover (PCA) for the lamp compartment UV stabilized to avoid yellowing to ensure ingress protection of IP 65 for the lamp compartment suitable for highly polluted areas. Gear compartment cover made of engineering plastic to ensure an ingress protection classification of IP 54.
• Heat resistant toughened flat glass cover (GLA) for the lamp compartment to ensure ingress protection of IP 65 for the lamp compartment suitable for highly polluted areas. Gear compartment cover made of engineering plastic to ensure an ingress protection classification of IP 54.
• Single piece light stabilized clear thermoformed acrylic cover (TFA) for both lamp and gear compartment ensuring an ingress protection classification of IP 54 for both lamp and gear compartment suitable for areas with low or medium level of pollution.
• High quality long life EPDM / FELT gasket specially treated for heat resistance and insect repellence to ensure the declared level of ingress protection throughout the life of the luminaire. User friendly hinging arrangement for lamp and gear compartment consisting of stainless steel toggles facilitating access to lamp and gear compartment from bottom. Flexible optics to achieve optimum light distribution to suit different road and installation parameters.
